The math
We price only the crowd-out. The staff hours are a bonus you can count yourself.
This door's estimate is deliberately narrow: just the new patients displaced by a clogged line, at conservative rates. Here's the arithmetic.
Four numbers, multiplied
| Factor | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| New-patient inquiries per week | Your answer — midpoint of the range you pick |
| × estimated crowd-out rate | Conservative lookup keyed to your Clog Score (3–35%) — a line consumed by repeat questions during peak windows displaces some share of new callers |
| × close rate for your practice type | Conservative working assumption, stated in the report |
| × value of one patient relationship | Your answer |
A dental practice with 28 new inquiries a week, scoring in the "Leaking" band (15% crowd-out), a 25% close rate and a $2,500 average patient: 28 × 4.3 × 15% × 25% × $2,500 ≈ $11,300 a month ringing behind the same ten answers. We deliberately do NOT price the staff hours the clog consumes — that number is real, large, and easy for you to compute from your own payroll once the discovery counts the calls.
Estimates from your own answers using stated assumptions — labeled that way in every report. The measured discovery replaces the estimate with two timed call streams.
The AI-search bonus nobody prices
Patients increasingly ask AI assistants "which dentists near me take my insurance?" — and assistants answer from whatever practices have PUBLISHED. A current, well-structured answers page doesn't just deflect calls; it makes your practice quotable in the places patients now ask first. The practices with published answers get recommended; the ones whose answers live in heads don't exist to the machine.
